Obverse

The obverse of the coin features a stylised 16th c. Vytis, similar to the drawing of the Vytis published in one of the copies of the Statute of Lithuania, on a floral damascened background, surrounded by the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), denomination (50 litas), year of issue (2004), and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.

Reverse

The reverse of the coin features a damascened background with Albertas Goštautas, Chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Palatine of Vilnius, presenting the Statute of Lithuania to King Sigismund the Old, surrounde by the Columns of Gediminas, the Abdank of Goštautas, and the inscription LIETUVOS STATUTUI 475 (475 YEARS OF THE STATUTE OF LITHUANIA).
