The obverse of the coin features a stylised Vytis, surrounded by the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA) at the top, denomination (€5), year of issue (2015), and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.

Reverse

The reverse of the coin features a boat with a sail shaped like the wing of a bird, the Lithuanian tricolour flag and a musical fragment of the national anthem; the inscription NEPRIKLAUSOMYBĖS ATKŪRIMAS 25 (RESTORATION OF INDEPENDENCE 25) is arranged in a semicircle.
