The reverse of the coin features the Statue of Freedom in Kaunas (by sculptor Juozas Zikaras) against a background of sun rays, surrounded by the inscriptions NEPRIKLAUSOMYBĖS ATKŪRIMAS (RESTORATION OF INDEPENDENCE) and 1990–2000.
