Obverse

The obverse of the coin features the Church of Christ the Redeemer that belongs to Sapieha Palace complex, in the background – an impressive octagonal dome that is depicted from below, as if looking from inside the church, as well as the grand coat of arms of the Sapieha family, featuring Vytis, the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania. The coin also depicts the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), denomination (€20), the year of issue (2019) and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.

Reverse

The reverse of the coin depicts a Baroque masterpiece – the ensemble of the park and the countryside palace of Jan Kazimierz Sapieha, Grand Hetman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It also features the inscription SAPIEGŲ RŪMAI (SAPIEHA PALACE).
