Obverse

The obverse of the coin features a stylised cross that divides the mirror surface into four parts, displaying Vytis inside a shield, the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), year of issue (2005), and the denomination (50 litas).

Reverse

The reverse of the coin features a portrait of Cardinal Vincentas Sladkevičius alongside the coat of arms of the Cardinal, surrounded by the inscription KARDINOLAS VINCENTAS SLADKEVIČIUS 1920–2000.
