Obverse

The national side of the coin features an amber disc decorated with a crosspiece of small holes – one of the most characteristic symbols of Baltic culture. It is surrounded by the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), year of issue (2016), and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint. The coin’s outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union flag.

The common side of the coin features a geographical image of Europe.
