Bank of Lithuania

Obverse

The national side of the coin depicts linear motifs, symbolising polyphonic melodies of the unique Lithuanian heritage – folk songs sutartinės. The lines are widening and narrowing again, spinning into a swirl decorated with various miniature geometric and nature figures. The coin features inscriptions LIETUVA (LITHUANIA) and SUTARTINĖS (Lithuanian multipart songs), the year of issue (2019) and the mark of the Lithuanian Mint. 12 stars are incorporated in the outer part of the coin, set out as they are on the flag of the European Union.

Reverse

The common side of the coin features a geographical image of Europe.
