Obverse
The national side of the coin contains an inscription of the programme name in Lithuanian ERASMUS PROGRAMA (ERASMUS PROGRAMME), inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA) and the years 1987-2022 on the right side of the lower semi-circle. The mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint and the initials of the creator of the winning design are also incorporated. The coin’s outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union flag.
Reverse
The common side of the coin features a geographical image of Europe.
