Obverse

The main motif on the obverse of the coin provides a single visual rhythm and symbolically unites the emergency services – ambulance, firefighting and rescue, and police. Speed is in the nature of their work, and the essence of the 112 emergency response system is a prompt reaction, quick assistance, and effective decision-making. Artistic means are used to convey the sense of urgency, alertness, and decisive action, all working in unison. The obverse features the inscription “Lietuva” (Lithuania), the year of issue (2026), and the denomination (€20), along with the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.

Reverse

The reverse of the coin features the emergency response lights as a symbol of the joint mission and dynamic activities of these services. It conveys the ability to swiftly and safely reach a person in need. The texture, highlighted by the refraction of light, creates a subtle flickering effect, emphasising the atmosphere of urgency and vigilance that leads to a prompt response.
