Bank of Lithuania

Obverse

The obverse of the coin depicts an item of needlework, which features the inscription “LIETUVA” (Lithuania) and a symbolic silhouette of the Vytis, enwrapping a sleeping child like a blanket. The background images create the composition of a cosy evening, including stars and the moon, as well as the denomination (€1.50), the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint, and the year of issue (2025).

Reverse

The reverse of the coin artistically depicts the world of children’s sleep, captivated by lullabies which, alongside playful motifs such as stylised eyes in the form of musical notes, and sleeping sheep in the form of clouds, take one to the palace of dreams.
