Asta Kuniyoshi

Deputy Chair of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania

Asta Kuniyoshi joined the Bank of Lithuania having gained considerable experience in Lithuania’s and the EU's public finance management. She was Director of the Budget Policy Monitoring Department at the National Audit Office of Lithuania and served as Financial Counsellor at the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the European Union (EU). Having started her career at the Social Policy Analysis and Forecasting Department of the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, Asta Kuniyoshi also worked at the Ministry of Finance, namely the European Union Budget Division, the European Communities’ Own Resources Division, and the Planning and Analysis Division. As Deputy Chair of the Board, she oversees the field of cash and organisational management (administration) to the extent that it is implemented by the Organisation Service and the Personnel Division. She is also responsible for the activities of the Bank of Lithuania in exercising the rights conferred by the state-owned shares at UAB Lithuanian Mint.
