Asta Kuniyoshi Deputy Chair of the Board of Lietuvos bankas

Asta Kuniyoshi joined Lietuvos bankas having gained considerable experience in Lithuania’s and the EU's public finance management. She was Director of the Budget Policy Monitoring Department at the National Audit Office of Lithuania and served as Financial Counsellor at the Permanent Representation of Lithuania to the European Union (EU). Having started her career at the Social Policy Analysis and Forecasting Department of the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, Asta Kuniyoshi also worked at the Ministry of Finance, namely the European Union Budget Division, the European Communities’ Own Resources Division, and the Planning and Analysis Division. As Deputy Chair of the Board of Lietuvos bankas, she oversees the cash area, the area of payment instruments policy and payment systems, and the area of organisational management (administration) implemented by the IT Department, the People and Culture Division of the Strategy and Governance Department and the Money Museum. She also supervises Lietuvos bankas’ activities in exercising the rights conferred to it by the State's shares in the limited liability minting company Lietuvos monetų kalykla.
