Risk Survey of Lithuania's financial system


The objective of the Risk Survey is to identify market participants’ views about the most important sources of threats for financial stability in Lithuania.  Respondents of the Risk Survey assess the probability of the occurrence of unfavourable events and their potential impact on the domestic financial system. The survey is conducted twice per year. It was first published in 2011.

  • Review of the Survey of the Financial Behaviour of Households


    The Review of the Survey of the Financial Behaviour of Households is devoted to defining the saving and borrowing habits of households and the reasons for doing so, to find out how households assess their current financial situation. The Review also includes questions about the future expectations of households—changes in financial condition, saving and borrowing plans.

  • Survey of households with a housing loan


    The purpose of the survey of households with housing loans is to obtain more information about the income of households with housing loans, their composition, main reasons for borrowing, loan amounts, monthly payments, the burden of housing loan payments and the expectations of households about housing price changes over the next 12 months. The survey is conducted once per year.

  • Bank lending survey


    Bank lending surveys are conducted to obtain more information about non-interest loan conditions applied by banks, lending costs and market expectations. The Bank of Lithuania started the surveys of commercial banks in 2006. Reviews of the surveys are published twice per year (in April and in October).

    Note: From April 2011 until April 2012 the results of the bank lending survey were published along with the results of the survey of non-financial enterprises on business financing.

  • Survey of non-financial enterprises on business financing


    The objective of the survey of non-financial enterprises is the assessment of their demand for financial resources, changes of borrowing from credit institutions and changes of lending conditions. Non-financial enterprises were surveyed for the first time in 2011. Reviews of the surveys are published twice per year (in April and in October).

    Note: From April 2011 until April 2012 the survey of non-financial enterprises on business financing were published along with the results of the bank lending survey.
