INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
The publication Monetary Studies publishes scientific and survey articles by Lithuanian and foreign authors
on the development of economy, finance, money and banking, the simulation and forecasting of macroeconomic
processes, as well as topicalities, scientific comments and reviews of scientific works. Every
article is reviewed by two reviewers. Scientific articles and other works from the publication Monetary
Studies may be reprinted upon consent of the editors.
PRESENTATION OF ARTICLES. The articles presented should be original, i. e. never published before, except for articles from foreign publications. The language used should be Lithuanian or English. The size of an article is not specified, however, it is desirable that it should be not more than 6 000 words. The editors reserve the right to shorten and to edit articles upon coordination with the authors. The editors accept articles in computer format (spaced at 1.5). Computer media must be attached. The texts of articles should be presented in Microsoft Word compatible format and charts in Microsoft Excel format.
STRUCTURE OF ARTICLE. The following structure of article is recommended: title of article, name and surname of the author, institution represented by the author, address of the institution (including e-mail address), abstract and key words, the text, appendices (if any), English summary of the article, list of literature, the date of submitting the article, information about the author (academic degree and academic title, position, areas of activity).
Tables and pictures should be headed and numbered; their sources should also be indicated. References
on the list of literature should be presented in alphabetic order (first – Latin, then – Slavic) and following
the principles used in the publication Monetary Studies. Footnotes (if any) are written on each page. They should be very short (due to the specificity of the design of the publication).
ACQUISITION OF THE PUBLICATION. Authors receive 3 copies of the publication Monetary Studies.
