Security features of the banknote :

    Paper

  1. Paper of white colour, non-fluorescent under ultraviolet light.
  2. Watermark - the portrait of Vydunas, located on the lighter side of the banknote.
  3. Security thread with the repeated microtext (200 LITU).
  4. Visible fibres - of green, red and blue colour. The green and red fibres fluoresce green and red under ultraviolet light.
  5. Holographic metallic strip with the repeated inscription (200 LTL), which comes out black if photocopied.

  7. Raised intaglio printing of the portrait, denomination numbers and inscriptions provides a tactile surface easily distinguished by touch.
  8. The background of the portrait on the right hand side contains a repeated microtext (200 LTL LIETUVOS BANKAS). The denomination numeral is filled in with a repeated microlettering (LB). Microtext and microlettering can be read through a magnifying glass.
  9. Recognition sign for the blind - three raised equilateral triangles.
  10. See-through feature front to back in perfect register visible when the note is held up to the light.
  11. Latent image (200 LB) appears when the note is tilted towards the light.
  12. Design elements - the edges in the top and bottom of the note, the symbol of the Coat of Arms, background and microtext (LIETUVOS BANKAS) surrounding it, are intended for the anti-colour copier and scanner protection.
  13. Vertical serial number fluoresces under ultraviolet light.
  14. Rectangle containing three denomination numbers printed in invisible inks fluoresces under ultraviolet light in green colour.
  15. Ornaments on both sides of the holographic strip and denomination numbers to the right of the strip printed in invisible inks appear green-yellowish under ultraviolet light.

  16. Raised intaglio printing of the lighthouse, pier, sea, denomination numbers and inscriptions provides a tactile surface easily distinguished by touch.
  17. Repeated microtext (LIETUVOS BANKAS) printed vertically alongside the left border of the note. Microtext can be read through a magnifying glass.
  18. Line patterns printed on the right side of the note intended for the anti-copier and scanner protection. These are visible when viewed through a magnifying glass.
  19. Two beams of the lighthouse and the right side of the pier fluoresce yellow-greenish under ultraviolet light.
