The academic journal Monetary Studies publishes scientific and survey articles by Lithuanian and foreign authors on the development of economy, finance, money and banking, the simulation and forecasting of macroeconomic processes, as well as topicalities, comments and reviews of scientific works. Every article is subject to a review by at least two referees. Request for permission to reprint any article and other material from the Journal should be addressed to the Editorial Office.

PRESENTATION OF ARTICLES. The articles presented should be original, i.e. never published before, except for articles from foreign publications. The language used should be Lithuanian or English. The size of an article should not exceed  9  000 words. The editors reserve themselves the right to shorten and to edit articles upon coordination with the authors. The editors accept articles in computer format (spaced at 1.5). Computer media must be attached. The texts of articles should be presented in Microsoft Word compatible format and charts in Microsoft Excel format.

STRUCTURE OF ARTICLE. The following structure of article is recommended: title of article, name and surname of the author, institution represented by the author, address of the institution (including e-mail address), abstract and key words, the text, appendices (if any), English summary of the article, list of literature, the date of submitting the article, information about the author (academic degree and academic title, position, areas of activity).

Tables and pictures should be headed and numbered; their sources should also be indicated. References on the list of literature should be presented in alphabetic order (first – Latin, then – Slavic) and following the principles used in the Journal. Footnotes (if any) are written on each page. They should be very short (due to the specificity of the design of the publication).
