The statistics compiled and published by the Bank of Lithuania mainly aim to present to the public comprehensive statistics that comply with international standards and are comparable to the statistics of other EU Member States, serving as a basis for implementing the monetary policy, macroprudential policy and supervisory tasks set for the Eurosystem and the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). We are one of the most important institutions in the country, involved in the production of official statistics used by state institutions, financial market participants, the media, international bodies and the general public.
Monthly Bulletin (2017 No 11)
The Monthly Bulletin presents Lithuania’s key economic development indicators, statistics on monetary financial institutions’ balance sheet, monetary statistics, statistics on interest rates on loans and deposits, statistics on investment funds’ balance sheet, financial markets statistics, payment statistics, as well as statistics on quarterly financial accounts, balance of payments and foreign reserves. The Bulletin was first published in 1994.
Review of the Survey of Risks to Lithuania’s Financial System (2017/2)
The goal of the Survey of Risks to Lithuania’s Financial System is to assess the views of Lithuania’s financial system participants towards stability of the financial system and potential challenges to its future sustainable development. Potential threats and likelihood of their fruition are assessed by representatives of banks, insurance corporations, investment funds and other financial institutions. The Review of the Survey is published on a biannual basis.

The Survey of Households aims to determine the saving and borrowing habits of households and the underlying reasons, as well as find out how households assess their current financial situation. It also includes questions related to the future expectations of households and their financial literacy. The Review of the Survey is published on a biannual basis.
