Discussion paper: Reform of the cash supply system

In order to implement a more practical and effective cash supply system, also called the cash cycle, and to optimise cash handling processes in Lithuania, the Bank of Lithuania has analysed the experience and legal environment of the European Union and other countries and prepared proposals, how to organise the cash supply system of the country, and called for the debate on the material provided for in this Paper. Considerations contained in the Paper are of conceptual nature, aimed at finding the best solution. The particular enforceable proposals would be prepared later, taking into account the received observations, comments and expressed opinions.
