The obverse of the coin carries an image of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Lithuania (Vytis) in the centre and the inscription LIETUVA underneath. Below the image is the year of issue.


The reverse bears the numeral 10 at the top of the coin and the inscription CENTŲ below.

Specifications: diameter — 16.00 mm; weight — 1.40 g.
Material: alloy of copper, zinc and tin.
The edge of the coin is plain.

The designer of the coin is sculptor Petras Garška.
The coins were minted at the Birmingham Mint (Great Britain), the state enterprise Lithuanian Mint.
